How to find us
The Museum is within walking distance of the main rail and bus stations. Enter via the Cricket Ground from St James Street or Sir Vivien Richards Gates, Priory Bridge Road (see map below).
The Museum is behind the Ondaatje Pavilion.
The Museum is open from 10.30 am until after the tea interval during four day county games and during the interval between innings of 50 over games. It does not open for T20 games due to the short interval between innings. On match days the Museum is open only to people who have paid to watch the cricket.
It is open from 11.00 am to 3.30 pm Tuesday to Friday on non-match days.
In 2016 the museum will be open from 1 May until the end of October.
There is usually someone available in the Museum Office on weekday mornings from 10.00 am until 12.00 noon throughout the year. It may be possible to accommodate visitors during these hours where a proposed visit falls outside the Museum’s opening times. We ask for advance notice of such visits preferably a day or two beforehand. Our telephone number is 01823 275893.
